Can a Body Mass Index Chart accurately predict obesity?
There are many formulas and tables available such as a Body Mass Index Chart (BMI) and
Insurance Tables of acceptable body weight ranges that can give you an
approximate idea of whether or not you are obese, but these are not very
exact. Why? Because a Body Mass Index Chart only uses height
and overall weight as an indication of obesity. Body builders and
extreme athletes can actually show up as being obese on a Body Mass Index
