So What Health Problems Did My Yo-Yo Dieting Cause ...Including Perimenopause Symptoms?

Yes, that's right ... perimenopause symptoms! What does weight gain have to do with perimenopause symptoms? Read on to find out!...

Years of yo-yo dieting caused my weight to balloon from 118 pounds (53 kilos) to 200 pounds (91 kilos)! Now, of course, my weight wasn't the only problem I had to cope with. All this yo-yo dieting (weight loss / weight gain) and poor nutritional habits started to take a toll on my health and I found I developed an impressive list of health problems (including perimenopause symptoms) over the years:

  • I developed gallstones and had gallbladder surgery (very common result of yo-yo dieting). Eating fat now triggers a lot of indigestion. Following the program helps my body to process any fat I eat, alleviating indigestion symptoms.

  • I developed reflux and ulcers in my esophageus, causing intense stomach pain. When I follow this program, the pain disappears.

  • I developed symptoms of Yeast Infection from years of poor diets high in sweets and refined carbohydrates, as well as years of anti-biotic use and taking birth control pills. Following the Candida diet has eradicated the Candida.

  • I'm wheat intolerant and can only reduce the symptoms by avoiding wheat. (The worst symptoms are headaches, heartburn, reflux, nasal congestion and constantly clearing my throat.) I also find that when I eat wheat, it is harder to lose weight and when I stop eating wheat I find losing weight easier.

  • I developed asthma and allergies (skin rashes and hives). When I follow the Program, I never get skin rashes or hives ... I do still get mild asthma occasionally.

  • I developed a mild Essential Fatty Acid deficiency (by following very low fat diets) with symptoms of hair loss, dry and brittle hair and nails, dry eyes, dry skin and dry mouth. Previously my fingernails were constantly splitting and breaking and I had excessive hair loss. This Program reversed these problems ... my skin, hair and nails are so healthy now!

  • I developed mild adrenal exhaustion due to a combination of stress and wild fluctuations in blood sugar levels. I had the adrenal exhaustion symptoms of fatigue, mental fogginess, difficulty concentrating, poor memory, light-headedness, dizziness, and hypoglycaemia. When I follow the program, these symptoms are improved or eradicated.

  • I had moderately high cholesterol and fairly high triglyceride levels. Since this program follows most of the recommendations of low cholesterol diets, I was able to reduce my cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

  • I had mild hypoglycaemia (or low blood sugar). Following this program keeps my blood sugar levels stable.

  • I had sugar intolerance caused by low levels of serotonin and beta-endorphin, which in turn caused severe food and refined carbohydrate cravings. Following this program increased my serotonin and beta-endorphin levels and alleviated food cravings.

  • Another factor in my weight loss problems was due to impaired liver function (often called Fatty Liver) ... again caused by years of yo-yo dieting. (Often people who have gallstones and have lost their gallbladder have varying degrees of impaired liver function.) My liver has been so overworked from years of trying to cope with poor diets, antibiotics and birth control pills that it has become more and more prone to fat-storing and less to fat-burning. Following the program has switched my body into a fat-burning mode ... allowing me to lose fat slowly and steadily ... Yes, that's right, slowly ... I learnt the hard way that FAST weight loss always goes right back on again!

  • And of course, I had many perimenopause symptoms caused by Estrogen Dominance. When I follow this program, the perimenopause symptoms, especially hot flashes and night sweats, are greatly diminished. This is caused mainly by increasing phytonutrients in the diet. Also, when I started taking Natural Progesterone Cream, I found that I almost immediately stopped having the most annoying perimenopause symptoms of hot flashes, night sweats, hair loss, tender breasts, PMS symptoms, foggy brain, having trouble thinking of words and insomnia.

You can click on the following links to see the symptoms I exhibited for these conditions:

On these pages I have listed the symptoms (including the perimenopause symptoms) I had for various conditions like Estrogen Dominance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome / PCOS, Insulin Resistance, hypoglycemia, Essential Fatty Acid Deficiency, and more. Following the "Diet Free ... At Last!" Weight Loss Program alleviated almost all of them ... and helped me to lose weight in the process! Estrogen Dominance, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome / PCOS and Insulin Resistance are the 3 main conditions that have generated most of the "off-shoot" symptoms I have suffered from other conditions.

Of course, if I go off the program the symptoms (especially perimenopause / Estrogen Dominance symptoms) come back in varying degrees. This is because this weight loss program is not a quick fix, it is a lifestyle change. I have to accept that if I want to continue to get these fantastic results, I have to follow this weight loss program for the rest of my life. Given the wonderful health and fitness improvements, as well as increased fat burning I've gotten from following the "Diet Free ... At Last!" Weight Loss Program, that prospect doesn't bother me one bit!

So what's the connection between Perimenopause Symptoms and Weight Gain?

Obesity or being overweight triggers a vicious cycle: the fat cells contain an enzyme that converts adrenal steroids to estrogen, which in turn signals the body to produce less progesterone. This triggers estrogen dominance, which triggers perimenopause symptoms, which causes the body to store body fat (especially in the abdominal area) and inhibits fat burning.

Since dieting plays a big part in unbalancing your body and triggering this vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting, it is important to stop dieting and start a healthy weight management plan that focuses on re-establishing your body's natural state of health and fitness through a proper nutrition and exercise program.

The "Diet Free ... At Last!" Weight Loss Program teaches what foods to eat to trigger amazing relief from Perimenopause and menopause symptoms like hot flashes, and "foggy brain" ... and just as importantly, how to lose weight, without food cravings ... and keep it off, forever!

Want to know a wonderful side benefit of following this Program?...

"Unlike other unhealthy diets that leave you feeling tired and listless, this program will boost your energy and vitality, help to get rid of those niggling aches and pains, and leave you feeling like a new person! Not only that, but this program helps to control menopause and perimenopause symptoms, including depressed sex drive ... and you know what that means! Hmmm ... increased sex drive and improved sex life? Now there's a reason to try it on for size!"
