So What Exactly Are PMS Symptoms?
Since you
probably couldn't find a woman who doesn't know what PMS symptoms are, maybe a
better question would be: what triggers these symptoms?
A few decades
ago women who went to their doctors complaining of PMS symptoms were told it was
"all in their minds"! Thank goodness we've come a long way since then!
The medical
community now realise that there are definite PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome)
symptoms that many women suffer each month (usually starting one or two weeks
before your menstrual cycle and stopping after your menstrual cycle starts), including but not restricted to:
Interestingly
enough, all of these PMS symptoms are listed as symptoms for Polycystic Ovarian
Syndrome / PCOS and Estrogen Dominance! These two conditions very often
will trigger PMS symptoms in most women.
Another
interesting fact is that there are many less developed countries in the world
where Premenstrual Syndrome is virtually unheard of. This suggests very strongly
that our western society lifestyle is at the root of this condition (and many
others).
Unfortunately, the typical lifestyle in western society is
not very healthy and it is very difficult to live a life that doesn’t include
unhealthy diets, too little exercise, too much stress and environmental toxins.
These lifestyles are all too common in our world today. But the good news is
that now that you know what this lifestyle is doing to your health, you can make
the choice to change your life and improve your health.
How can you learn to manage
or alleviate these PMS symptoms?
As was
mentioned above, many of these PMS symptoms are off-shoots of PCOS or Estrogen
Dominance. If you think you may have one of these conditions, then it
would be a good idea to talk to your family doctor about running tests to see if
these symptoms in fact indicate a diagnosis of PCOS, Insulin Resistance or
Estrogen Dominance.
(Page 118 and 119 of the "Diet Free ... At Last!" Weight Loss Program e-book
lists the most common tests that doctors run to help with the diagnosis of PCOS,
Insulin Resistance or Estrogen Dominance.)
The sad
thing is that women are so used to everyone talking about PMS, it is as if PMS
has now become "the norm", whereas it definitely is not the norm! There is
no reason why women can't have a normal menstrual cycle without all these annoying
symptoms ... as a matter of fact, that was "the norm" before our world became so
complicated with medical and environmental conditions changing the way our
bodies work. PCOS and Estrogen Dominance are certainly not the only
conditions that can trigger PMS symptoms, but they are probably two of the more
common ones.
"Imagine
being able to have regular menstrual cycles without all the annoying PMS
symptoms that you have suffered from for years! It may seem impossible,
but it CAN be done ... How? By learning how to bring your body back to its
natural state of health and wellness ... and a wonderful side benefit is that
you can actually lose any excess weight that has been plaguing you at the same
time!"
If indeed,
your root problem is
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome / PCOS, which triggers the insulin resistance
and Estrogen Dominance, it is important that your medical plan of attack is to
address all these conditions at the same time (otherwise it is very difficult to
break the vicious cycle).
And what are
the strategies you need to follow to manage all these conditions?
The "Diet Free ... At Last!"
Weight Loss Program outlines the strategies and information you need to manage
PMS symptoms, as well as Insulin Resistance, Estrogen Dominance and Polycystic
Ovarian Syndrome / PCOS ... AND lose weight in the process!
